AACI, the Asociación Argentina de Cultura Inglesa is a non profit language school founded in 1927.  There are five branches in all and ours is in Lomas de Zamora, a neighbourhood that is aproximately 16 km from the obelisk - southbound - and it has a population of around 120,000.

There are many bilingual schools in Lomas de Zamora as many british immigrants settled in the area back in the 19th century. Most of them worked for the British Railway and the gardened chaltes built by railway executives near the railway stations of Remedios de Escalada, Banfield, Lomas de Zamora and Temperley gave an English atmosphere to this area.
